Client: TDC A/S
Cable: DK-GER 2 from Gedser in Denmark to Rostock in Germany
JD-Contractor A/S assisted in repairing the cable DK-GER 2. The
repair was done from the cable and diving support vessel M/S Cable
One. The crew assisted in salvage and diving operations to locate
and pick up the cable, and all the operations in relation to the
vessel.

Client: ABB SWEDEN
Cable: The Baltic Cable (HVDC)
The Baltic Cable (HVDC) malfunctioned. As a result ABB contracted
JD-Contractor A/S for the supply of repair barge, supporting tugs,
equipment and personnel to carry out the repair with ABB jointers
and jointing equipment. Consequently JD-Contractor A/S was responsible
for all maritime work and handling of the cable, while ABB was responsible
for jointing the cable and providing all the necessary parts and
equipment for repairing the cable.
The repair was carried out from the cable laying vessel C/B Henry
P. Lading supported by tugs and the Cable and Diving vessel M/S
Cable One.

Cable: Fibre Optic cable in the Sound near Masnedsund Kalv
JD-Contractor A/S has in April assisted in the repair of the fibre
optic cable. The repair was done from the cable and diving support
vessel M/S Honte. The crew assisted in salvage and diving operations
to locate and pick up the cable, and all the operations in relation
to the vessel.

Client: Energinet.dk
Cable: Kontek Cable between Denmark and Germany
Two different leaks were located along the Kontek cable between
Denmark and Germany in separate joints. As a result Energinet.dk
contracted JD-Contractor A/S for the supply of repair barge, supporting
tugs, equipment and personnel to carry out the repair with NKT A/S
jointers and jointing equipment. JD-Contractor A/S was responsible
for all maritime work and handling of the cable, while NKT-A/S was
responsible for jointing the cable and providing all the necessary
parts and equipment for repairing the cable.
During the repair work a third fault was located and repaired. All
the repairs were carried out from the cable laying vessel C/B Henry
P. Lading supported by the tugs and the Cable and Diving vessel
M/S Cable One.

Client: Energinet.dk
Cable: 20 kV supply cable for Læsø
On behalf of Energinet.dk, JD-Contractor A/S was asked to assist
with vessels and personnel in connection with the repair of the
20 kV supply cable for Læsø.
The cable broke down on the night of 18 July 2009 due to outer damage.
As a result the electricity supply was redirected to the Kontiscan
cable. The repair work was conducted between 23 and 29 July 2009.
