An alternative to our jetting and suction systems is our wheel trencher (SUBTRENCH ONE). SUBTRENCH ONE can work on all types of seabed, but is especially effective on a very hard seabed. The machine itself is larger than other equivalent systems and consequently demands a larger set-up of vessels and equipment.

Unique Qualities:

• Can efficiently dig in a hard gravely seabed as well as in a seabed consisting solely of clay.
• Rocks up to 30 cm in diameter will be removed from the seabed or alternatively smashed.
• Creates a narrow and deep trench which is quickly covered.
• The cable is placed directly into the trench via a specialized steering device.

SUBTRENCH ONE can be operated on a gravely seabed as well as on a seabed consisting of clay. High-pressure jet equipment is used to cut through the clay and a hydraulic device crushes smaller stones.
