In the autumn of 2006, JD-Contractor A/S rebuilt and improved the cable trencher ROV System, SUB-JET ONE, to make it more efficient for entrenching underwater cables and pipelines into the seabed, and other deep water activities. It is now known as SUB-JET TWO.

The new improved model is more streamlined. It has also been fitted with a specially constructed jetting system.

The first assignment for the newly renovated SUB-JET TWO was to entrench underwater cables between Bornholm and Sweden in the Baltic Sea. The entrenching of cables was being carried out on a continuous basis and by the end of June 2007 SUB-JET TWO had embedded 13.5 km of cables between Bornholm and Sweden.
